Hoang Tran is an Occupational Therapist (OT/L) and Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), who graduated from the University of Florida in 2000 with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She first gained experience in acute care settings of hospitals such as Parkway and Cleveland Clinic, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. In 2001, she started working in acute care at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, then moved into the senior outpatient therapy setting five years later. Soon after she accepted the outpatient position, she sat for the rigorous CHT boards and in 2006 obtained her national board certification as a Miami Certified Hand Therapist, demonstrating her competency in the practice of Miami hand therapy.
