First and foremost, I feel extremely lucky to be able to carry out the job that gives me a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction, especially when I witness my patients’ recovery from their injuries. Being a Miami Occupational therapist allows me to work with and help people of all ages; some of my patients are infants, others are elderly. I use highly specialized assessment and treatment to develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills of people suffering from injuries or disabilities. Practitioners of my profession enable people of all ages to live life to its fullest by helping them promote health, prevent injury or live better with illness, or disability.
