Did you ever wonder what happened to the patients who survived from COVID-19? A study revealed that approximately 87% of them still experience difficulty breathing and fatigue even after they have recovered.
As we all know, COVID-19 has been around since the beginning of 2020. Although around 1.2 million people died from the disease, more than 30 million or 96% of patients have successfully recovered. However, the sad news is that some survivors may continue to feel unwell even after being diagnosed as ‘COVID-free’.
A patient who has recovered and tested negative for SARS-Cov-2 but continues to have the signs and symptoms of the viral disease may actually be suffering from a different medical condition known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.
